Finally, the summer version of our beloved MA-1 flight jacket is available for women. The MA-1 VF LW features a slimmer fit than the original MA-1 and was tailored to fit a feminine silhouette. Additionally, the bulky padding of the original flight jacked was removed in order to achieve a lighter jacket. The lofty yet stury flight nylon protects from wind and rain. It’s probably not as dramatic a development as women’s suffrage, for example, but since military fashion tends to be rather male dominated, we reckoned that turning a masculine jacket into a classic women’s item would be a step into the right direction. Comes with flight tag and utility pocket on left sleeve.
